Traveler, Photographer, Mother
I have traveled to many place including Honduras, Croatia,
France, Italy, England, Spain, Belize, Canada and Greece. I love to travel and
learn about new cultures and people and to experience new ways to live. The one
thing I haven’t done is travel throughout my own home country, old USA. I’ve
been to a few states, but I’ve never really experienced the life of Americans
except in my own hometown in Southern California.
When I was in high school, I was inspired by Richard
Avedon’s: In The American West portraits. He traveled through the American
West, met people and took amazing portraits of them. The portraits are simple,
on a white background, but show who these people are. I was hooked. I wanted to
go out and travel through the US and meet people and take portraits of them,
capturing who they are in that moment. This has been my dream ever since.
I never thought I would actually go on my RV dream trip
through America until our kids were all grown up and my husband and I both
retired. Aren’t RVs for retired people anyway? They are not made for young
families. My husband and I decided we don’t want to wait to start living our
dreams. Even with a baby we are determined to make our dreams a reality.
This blog is about my passions in life: travel, photography
and being a mother. It’s about our adventure, our ups and downs and how we will
make our trip happen. I hope to be able to find solutions to even the toughest
problems of traveling in an RV with a baby. If we can make our dreams come
true, so can you.
